Indications

Obesity; weight gain due to glandular dysfunction and faulty hormonal secretion.  May also be used to combat incipient goiter.

Mode of action

R59 has a stimulating effect on the metabolism of tissues, on cellular respiration, and the elimination of excess fluid accumulation in the tissues.  R59 also exerts a regulatory effect on thyroid function.

Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni: Obesity; weight is gained easily and quickly; leucophlegmatic constitution.

Croton tiglium: Stimulant of intestinal function.

Fucus vesiculosus: Contains a considerable amount of organically bound iodine, therefore, aids in stimulating the thyroid gland.

Graphites: Strongly influences and corrects the metabolic dysfunctions causing obesity.

Natrium sulfuricum: Acute and chronic hepatitis; liver and/or gallbladder disease; influences extracellular fluid density, stimulates elimination; reduces fluid accumulation.

Spongia: Effective in thyroid or goiter conditions; hypertrophy and induration of the thyroid.

Clinical experience

• R19 (men) / R20 (women) are often prescribed in conjunction to address glandular dysfunction.
• Administer after pregnancy to assist achieving normal weight.
• Dosage: 5-10 drops 6 times daily for 2 weeks, followed by 5-10 drops 3 times daily for 4 weeks.

Ingredients

Calcium carbonicum Hahnemanni D12 1 g, Croton tiglium D4 1 g, Fucus vesiculosus D2 1 g, Graphites D12 1 g, Natrium sulfuricum D2 1 g, Spongia D3 1 g.

Non-medicinal ingredients: ethanol, purified water.

Dosage

Adults and children (ages 12 and up) 5-10 drops 1-3 times daily, in a little water or undiluted or as directed by a healthcare practitioner.

Contraindications

• Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
• Do not use in cases with intestinal affections.
